My son started his first season of kid-pitch baseball and let me tell you, it was a loooong game. There were so many walks and not much going on the outfield.

Anyways, I bought my son these sliding shorts on sale last season (they’re still on sale now) and he never wore them because he didn’t like the extra bulk. I did his laundry this week and noticed that he wore them for the game. I asked him about it and he said he’s going to wear them now for the extra padding in case he gets hit with a pitch. Smart kiddo.
